Most countries in the world operate on democracy and tenures. Each country has its own regulations on changing of the president. Some countries presidents use three years, some others use four years depending on their policies. On the other hand, some other countries function based on the death of the current president. That is, until the current president dies or steps down before the next president is appointed.

The countries that operates on democracy employ a voting system where by the registered citizens of the country come out to elect the person of their choice. This event happens in different countries at the selected time, but the voting process in the United States seems to be on the mouth of everyone. With the people from outside countries picking who to vote for and why a particular person would be a better president. While on another hand, some countries go through their voting process without many countries finding out. It is when they announce their new presidents that the world happens to know about it. But for the United States, every other country know it happens and they are able to follow up and stay abreast of this situation.

Reasons why US election is widely monitored

Many may wonder why this is the case. Well, there are a couple of things that are responsible for it. One of which is the fact that most nations of the world look up to the United States. This may be because of their level of development, leadership and growth. You can also look at it in terms of their current position as the world’s power. Many nations strife to be like them hence they are always watching to see what they do and how they do it.
The country itself knows this so they are putting themselves out there for the people to see, thereby ensuring their own growth.
