CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. The aClick Agency translator is a capable, reliable and experienced individual who must be fluent in both the language from which and to which the translation is being made and is thus able to speak with clarity and appropriate emphasis and enunciation.
  2. Manifests irreproachable personal conduct. Possesses such qualities as: punctuality, courteousness, patience, understanding, cheerfulness, objectivity and discreteness.
  3. Never expresses his/her own opinion about the proceeding/project he/she is translating. Observes strict professional secrecy. The aClick Agency Translator remains impartial and objective at all times. If there is a conflict of interest involved between the aClick Agency Translator and any of the participants involved in the proceedings, such that it would cause the Translator to lose his/her objectivity, the Translator will disqualify him/herself and notify aClick Agency immediately.
  4. When the assignment is completed, the Translator will call and give the exact beginning and ending time of the proceedings/project to aClick Agency's staff.
  5. The aClick Agency Translator shall strive continually to maintain and upgrade the professional skills required to perform translation assignments with excellence.

FREELANCE TRANSLATOR/TYPESETTER AGREEMENT

AGREEMENT made this  day of  between aClick Agency and  residing at herein called "Translator/Typesetter." WHEREAS, the parties desire to set forth the conditions of their relationship as Translator/Typesetter and school of languages; it is agreed:
  1. Translator/Typesetter certifies that the information he/she has supplied (or which he/she may supply from time to time) regarding his/her abilities, education, experience and lawful right to work in the country of residence, are accurate and true. Translator/Typesetter understands that aClick Agency may seek independently to verify his/her credentials and qualifications, and he/she authorizes aClick Agency to do so.
  2. Translator/Typesetter agrees that he/she will not perform any translating or typesetting services for any aClick Agency client except through aClick Agency during the term of all translating, typesetting services contracted for, with aClick Agency, and for a period of two years thereafter.
  3. Translator/Typesetter works as an independent contractor and is not an employee of aClick Agency, his/her sole compensation being the professional fees paid for services. Translator/Typesetter will be responsible for his/her own taxes and similar charges, and those will not be withheld from his/her compensations by aClick Agency, aClick Agency and Translator/Typesetter shall agree upon the fee for services in writing from time to time.
  4. It is understood that Translator/Typesetter has an at will working relationship with aClick Agency That is, employment (as an independent contractor) is not for any definite term but may be terminated at any time for any reason by either aClick Agency or Translator/Typesetter.
  5. Translator/Typesetter agrees to use best efforts to comply with the Code of Conduct called Annex A of this agreement.
  6. This letter agreement constitutes the entire integrated agreement between Translator/Typesetter and aClick Agency, with the sole exception of the amount to be paid to Translator/Typesetter notwithstanding any oral representations, which may have been or may be made, or any other understandings, which either party may have. In other words, there are no terms of the agreement between aClick Agency and Translator/Typesetter except those set forth in this document, or a separate documents(s) relating to compensation only, or required by law.

LIABILITIES

* aClick Agency (in the person of Mr. Salvatore Novello) is hereby liable to:
  1. Inform the Contractor all necessary information about assignments within the course of a job.
  2. Propose a job's termination date to Contractor and work out with him/her a suitable dead-line for commissioning the work done. All due communication and forwarding of jobs is done via email, phone or chat.
Contractor is hereby liable to:
  1. Conform with the previously agreed dead-lines for assignments.
  2. Provide all texts (either for conveying or expertise) in the original formatting.

PAYMENTS

In consideration of the services described above, aClick Agency hereby agrees to pay Contractor the agreed fee ONLY AFTER RECEIVING MONEY FROM THE FINAL CUSTOMER OF THE PROJECT. Usually this can be done within 60 days.

This agreement may only be modified or added to in writing, and only by Mr. Salvatore Novello on behalf of aClick Agency .
